When do you have open play?

A:

Please visit our "DAILY SCHEDULE" for all Open Play and Special Events. Also Saturdays and Sundays are always reserved for private parties (we will post any Weekend Open Play on our "DAILY SCHEDULE"  where possible)

To ensure quality visits, reservations are REQUIRED for all visitors. For any RESERVATIONS, Click Here

Can we give our Visiting Card to someone else?

A:

Yes, but we must go through a confirmation process of the transfer 

Is there an adult's admission charge?

A:

One adult's for one child admission is FREE, the second adult is charged $7.99. If your family are members than there is a 20% discount on all admissions. 

What form of payment do you accept?

A:

Cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We do not accept checks. 

Are children and adults required to wear socks?

A:

We are a shoe-free environment, Adults and Children are required to wear socks at all times. Children should be wearing socks with GRIPS.

Do you allow outside food?

A:

You are allowed to bring lunch in for you and your family. Please NO NUT-PRODUCTS. 

How do I book a party or special event?

A:

 

To Book A Birthday Party:

For birthday information please text us at 201-314-6431 and provide full name, email address and date you which to check for availability. If you haven't visited The Big Playhouse before, please also text you wish to do a tour.

Once you have received all party information and tour is completed, all parties can be booked in person or over the phone at 201-314-6341 use a credit card to leave a deposit to reserve your spot.

 

To Book A Special Event:

Please visit our "Daily Schedule" there you will see any and all special events. Once you see the one(s) you wish to attend, click on
that event, scroll down to payment information and pay for the event online in-advance.

Are The Big Playhouse parties customized?

A:

Yes! Your child's party will be amazing! Our event planner will sit down with you and together plan a party that is personalized to your child's favorite things, movies and/or tv shows. 

Are we allowed to stay after the party is over?

A:

Your child will have a 2-hour party. You can decide whether to have your official party with food/dessert in the PARTY SUITE at the beginning or end of the 2-hour period. You can not stay after the party, we have another event scheduled. We can discuss this further once you sit down for your consultation with our event planner. Your child and guests will have a blast playing in all the attractions. 

What is the deposit for booking a party?

A:

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to book every party or private event.We also require a $150 security deposit for any damages, of course if your party is cancelled, this security deposit will be returned. Otherwise the non-refundable deposit and security deposit (if no damages occurred during your party) will be subtracted from your balance. Upon paying the deposit, you agree to the terms and conditions of the THE BIG PLAYHOUSE party agreements.

Can we order food for the adults coming to my party?

A:

Yes, during your planning consultation with your event planner, together you will decide exactly what will be served for the children and adults. 

Can I bring in my own balloons?

A:

Yes. The party room is very colorful so balloons will be a nice touch. 

Can I bring in my own goody bags?

A:

Yes, We ask that your goody bags be candy & food free because we are a NUT-free facility. 

Can I bring table decorations?

A:

You and your planner will decide on everything you would like to have at your child's party. If you still feel the need to bring anything extra, we would have no problem with it. NO GLITTER items OR PINATAS.

Are there any items I can't bring?

A:

No confetti or wall decorations are permitted. No outside entertainers without making those arrangements with THE BIG PLAYHOUSE ahead of time. Also no glitter items such as heavy glittered costumes, pinatas and alcoholic beverages.

Are there any other fees associated with birthday parties?

A:

Yes, 7% tax and we add a 15% gratuity automatically. That is how we keep such a great staff of event planners and other staff assistants. Also we need a $150 security deposit in case of any damages that may occur during the party. If no damages, we will deduct the $150 from your balance.

Can I throw a walk in birthday party and bring my own cake?

A:

All parties must be booked in advance with THE BIG PLAYHOUSE. NO WALK-IN BIRTHDAY PARTY.Our parties are all exclusive and private to your group.
